Making a Full and Lasting Recovery from Drugs and Alcohol
The mission of Fairwinds Treatment Center’s alcohol and drug rehab program is to offer quality treatment services that provide our clients with the tools necessary to achieve a full and lasting recovery with respect and dignity. The Fairwinds treatment team will work diligently and patiently with you to reach these goals:
- Stay abstinent from alcohol and other drugs.
- Effectively cope with the symptoms of diagnosed mental illness.
- Resolve family problems.
- Sort out any legal issues.
- Develop positive leisure and recreational activities in and outside of our facility.
Transition and Aftercare from Drugs and Alcohol: A New Beginning
With a holistic approach to alcohol and drug rehab treatment, our program stresses the importance of family support and psychological rehabilitation so that every client can achieve self-realization, a sense of personal responsibility and a renewed self-worth.
As a Fairwinds client, you will be carefully monitored throughout your alcohol and drug rehabilitation program and transferred to a less intensive level of care when it is clinically appropriate. Our substance abuse treatment team will help you create a personalized discharge and aftercare plan designed to give you ongoing support in your daily life. This plan often includes intensive outpatient or extended care to build on your recovery.
Many of our clients participate in Fairwinds’ partial day treatment program as they re-integrate into their families and home community. This step-down program provides the same array of drug and alcohol rehab services and individualized care as the residential program, while allowing you the freedom and flexibility of living at home. As clients demonstrate the increased ability to make positive self-care decisions, they may be requested to participate in the partial program less than 5 days a week, eventually transferring to the recommended aftercare program.
